From Goa in the west to Vietnam in the east, Asia offers a vast array of differing cuisines united by spices and chillies.
Street food is usually quick to prepare and just as quick to eat.
Skewers of marinated meat or fish, spring rolls, summer rolls, wontons, bhajis and pakoras are all perfect finger food. Thai salads, deep fried noodles and curries need cutlery and perhaps a bread to mop up sauces.
Friday & Saturday Afternoons
13:00 – 17:00
If there was ever a food that was a perfect match for beer it has to be cheese. All of Europe loves a small plate of cheese and some sliced meat to soak up a few beers whilst catching up with friends after the week’s work.
Weekend days we are offering a selection of cheese and charcuterie (that’s meat for those who don’t speak Franglais) as a sharing board for four people and more.
Friday & Saturday Evenings

Tapas are small dishes of food, some very simple, some cold and some hot and are designed to keep the diner and drinker comparatively sober and amiable which is already what the average Stanford customer is!
From pickled olives, salted almonds and fried broad beans, to meatballs with squid, meat pasties, ham and cheese croquettes, from fried green peppers, bean casseroles and potato omlettes, tapas are as varied as the ingredients and the seasons that change.
Photos are for illustrative purposes only, actual dishes will vary on the day.
